MATH 8549A
Fall 1998
Office hours: Mon. 1-2, Weds. 2-3
This course is intended for students close to completion of the M.S. Statistics degree or with a commensurate knowledge of statistical techniques. Students in this course will be expected to employ SAS and other software in the analysis of data sets. Some sample SAS programs and notes on using the system at Tech will be provided as will some data sets. The student will be expected to decide upon a course of action, write the requisite code and run it, and present this analysis, most often informally, in our weekly round table session.
- Please send me the times you can not meet if you have not already done so. I will make a decision based on the information I have received by Wednesday afternoon and post the time and place of the meetings here.
