Examples of the use of the programming languages SAS, Matlab, and R will be provided. R is
preferred; it is open source and various gui versions can be downloaded for
free for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux platforms. Click here.
It can also be run on the isye mainframe. There will be assignments involving the use of such programs on the analysis of real data.
The primary source for the successful completion of the assignments is the examples, but R's help or An Introduction to R
available at the CRAN website R's online help are also available.

- Final Exam is Weds May 2, 2012 from 11:30 to 2:20 in rm 202 of the Skiles
classroom building. The exam is open notes, books, computers, internet, etc. As usual
however, you are reminded that Georgia Tech operates under an honor code so that you are not to use the
input of other persons. Off-campus students will take the exam as a
timed take home exam.
